How to Calculate Your Score

Add up the numbers you selected for all 7 questions. Your total score will be between 0 and 21.

What Your Score Means

  • 0–4: Minimal Anxiety. Your symptoms may not be significantly impacting your daily life at this time.

  • 5–9: Mild Anxiety. You may be feeling some tension or worry. Monitoring these symptoms or talking to a counselor can help keep them manageable.

  • 10–14: Moderate Anxiety. Your symptoms are likely noticeable and may be interfering with your daily tasks. Further evaluation by a professional is recommended.

  • 15–21: Severe Anxiety. Your symptoms are intense and persistent. It is highly recommended that you seek support from a mental health professional to develop a treatment plan.
